About Brownstone Candle: 

From this classic brownstone on New York's Upper West Side back to our traditional Kentucky roots, the concept for our locally-made, Kentucky-branded candle collection was born in 2007. Two years later, after much research and testing of fragrance, wax, and wicks our vision became a reality. From our farm in Central Kentucky, we began hand-pouring our clean burning natural soy candles with carefully curated fine fragrances, featuring Kentucky inspired designs and branded with our original equestrian logo.

Celebrating the rich history and traditions of our home state, Brownstone was launched in 2009 with 10 unique scents, and before long our equestrian and bourbon candles were featured in hundreds of shops across the United States. In 2011, we opened our first retail location on Ashland Avenue in Lexington and in 2015 a candle workshop and studio.
